Tech 45 Training - Dive Now
Tec 45 Training - Dive Now

Cost: $1499 | From 4 days | Includes the cost of 2 trips to the Poor Knights Islands

Cost includes all SSI training, certification and study materials. Any specialist equipment will be provided by the student for the duration of the course.

The third is your Open Water Dives. This is what it’s all about – you’ll make your first dives in the ocean! During four dives, you’ll perform various skills under water and on the surface to make sure you’re a safe and competent diver. The training portion usually only takes up the first part of the dive, meaning that you will get to spend a big part of your time diving with your instructor and exploring the underwater world. And the best part is that you’ll do the final 2 dives at the world famous Poor Knights Islands!

Once qualified you will be able to dive anywhere in the world down to 18 meters. But this is just the beginning.  There are a number of exciting courses that you can do to enhance your diving and open up even more destinations and adventures.

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • 100 or more logged dives
  • Rescue diver qualification
  • Nitrox qualification with a minimum of 12 dives using enriched air nitrox deeper than 18m
  • Deep Diver qualification with a minimum of 6 dives deeper than 30m
  • SSI Extended Range Nitrox or equivelent
  • Current dive medical

We have found that candidates will get a lot more from their course if they have a strong foundation to start with. So having training and experience diving twin cylinders, plus the skill to back fin and hold their position in the water will aid them through this course and beyond.
