We even have wreck diving on the HMNZS Waikato, the HMNZS Canterbury and even the famous Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior within driving distance from Whangarei.

POOR KNIGHTS

A day trip to the Poor Knights Islands is a great way to spend a Sunday. Heading out on a charter from Tutukaka marina.

WAIKATO WRECK

Waikato is sunk off Ngunguru Bay. At 113.4m long, 12.5m beam and a draft of 5.5m she was the first of the Leander class frigates built for the NZ navy.

Local Diving

The location really depends on the sea conditions. We dive within the harbour at sheltered locations when we cannot get along the coast.
