SSI XR Extended Range Nitrox $1599
The SSI XR Extended Range Nitrox course is where you learn the skills to complete decompression diving to 40m.
Our SSI XR Extended Range Nitrox Course is with back mounted twin tanks and includes 2 trips on our charter boat and your breathing gas.
This course introduces twin tank divers to the equipment and techniques required for completing dives to 40m with up to 15 minutes of decompression using a single stage cylinder to add gas volume and conservativity.
We will spend time in the classroom planning dives using current software and dive computers with the SAC rates you collected during your Deep Diver course.
We will go to the pool to revisit the basic drills from the foundation course and then introduce the stage bottle.
During the 4 open water dives, you will perfect your skills, recheck your SAC rates and perfect your dive planning for your final dive of the course, a 40m decompression dive.
Successful candidates will then be able to plan and perform decompression dives to 40m staying within the scope of the course and are able to proceed to the next section of learning, SSI Extended Range.
