LEARN TO SNORKEL

We can teach them some water safety and get them comfortable using a mask and snorkel. Our pool is heated to 24 degrees, so we recommend a wetsuit so they don’t get too cold. We have kids masks, fins and snorkels for you to use on the course.

Our snorkel course is aimed at 4-12 year olds.  Whether they are able swimmers or need a buoyancy aid to help them float, we will get them comfortable using a mask and snorkel. As the lessons go on we will work on their finning skills, clearing a mask and even ducking under to pick up toys in the shallow of our pool. The lessons are very flexible and fun to suit the needs of the students.

We only allow small groups of up to 4 per instructor. Our pool is heated to 24 degrees so we recommend a wetsuit so they don’t get too cold. It is preferable for the kids to train in their own mask / snorkel / wetsuit, however we have kids masks, fins and snorkels available here to use.  We also have a limited range of very small wetsuits

BEFORE YOU START

• You need to be comfortable in the water.  We have flotation aids available but please let us know if your child would benefit from also wearing a life jacket.
• A minimum age of 4 years applies.  
• Every student under 18 needs to have a parent or a guardian sign a consent form.
