Poor Knights Islands

A day trip to the Poor Knights Islands is a great way to spend a Sunday. Heading out on a charter from Tutukaka marina.

Local Diving

The location really depends on the sea conditions. We dive within the harbour at sheltered locations when we cannot get along the coast.

Waikato Wreck

Waikato is sunk off Ngunguru Bay. At 113.4m long, 12.5m beam and a draft of 5.5m she was the first of the Leander class frigates built for the NZ navy.

Rainbow Warrior Wreck

We are lucky enough to have a world famous wreck of the Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior, plus two of the three ex NZ Navy Leander Class frigates sunk for divers right on our door step.

Canterbury Wreck

Canterbury is a Leander Class Frigate and the sister ship to Waikato and lays in Deep Water Cove at 32m to 36m on the sand.
