Volivoli Beach Resort offers relaxing accommodation with panoramic beach and ocean views and their incredible hosts will make your time their magical.
No doubt, some of the best diving in the South Pacific, with over 90 amazing diving spots from mind blowing critters on the 3 shallow house reefs to stunning soft corals in the deeper Bligh Waters divers and snorkelers will be in for a treat.
Other activities to be enjoyed include snorkeling, fishing and various island tours. Or if you don’t feel that adventurous, simply sit by the pool, read a book and enjoy the sunshine and hospitality.
Divers can expect tropical conditions; warm, but sometimes wet top side and underwater temperatures of around 26 degrees Celcius in winter.
A 5mm full wetsuit is recommended for divers to stay warm and to protect against any stingers. Snorkelers could get away with a lighter suit, but must protect against sunburn.
There is plenty of marine life in the shallows, but many of the dive sites in the Bligh Waters will take you down to 30 metres. So divers will want to have a Deep diver qualification or equivalent to really enjoy this beautiful location.
To get longer time at depth, being qualified as a Nitrox diver will give you more bottom time on the trip.
HOW MANY DIVES WILL WE DO AT VOLIVOLI?
We will be diving for 5 days whilst at Volivoli.
What happens is that we do two boat dives per day, so that’s 10 dives.
In the afternoon, once the dive boats are back, it is possible to dive on one of the 3 shallow house reefs to look for the myriad of critters that inhabit there. There is no extra charge, or time limit to dive these for divers on the dive package. So that could be another 5 dives.
Dive Boats
After breakfast the dive boats will leave for the day and not come back until after both dives are completed. The boat journeys vary from 12 to 50 minutes each way depending on the dive sites.
The Bligh Waters are where the best soft corals are, that make this area famous for their rich and varied colours. Schooling fish populate the reef from the depths all the way to just below the surface. Your safety stop at 5 metres is a great place to watch the colourful schooling fish, including orange anthias dance next to the corals, then dash into the reef for safety when spooked by your shadow or a passing trevally
Safety
- All divers must dive with a buddy, within their training and comfort levels.
- Divers must have appropriate dive/holiday insurance.
- The local Hyperbaric Chamber is located at Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva, approximately a 3hr drive from the Volivoli.

The trip is scheduled for 28th June to 5th July 2025, so there is still plenty of time to save.

Transfer from Nadi to Volivoli and back.
Diving Package;
10 boat dives over 5 days using Nitrox in 11L aluminium cylinders. Includes diver lead. (worth $1307)
Optional extra $55 for the 10 dives/$11 per day for larger 15L cylinders if required.

Trip Requirements
- Advanced Open Water diver or above
- Nitrox Qualification
- If you haven’t been in the water for over 12 months, then book onto a refresher in our pool before the trip. This will ensure you are comfortable in the water before we go on the trip.
- Bring along a copy of your dive certification.
- Travel Insurance
- Passports must have a minimum of 6 months validity from your return date of travel
- Passports must have at least 2 blank pages
PLEASE NOTE
Your trip deposit or full payment secures your space. Any outstanding balances are due 10 weeks before departure.
If you cancel your space on a trip within 30 days or less of departure you will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Generally trip payments once made are non-refundable, but most trips have a waiting list and we will do our best to find someone to take your space in the event you need to pull out. You can help us, and improve your chance of a refund, by finding your own replacement.
If a trip is cancelled by us due to weather or for safety reasons, a full refund or store credit will be given. Trip pricing does not include transport. You will need to make your own way to the vessel departure point.
