Do you own your own air compressor or work with one to fill cylinders?
Great, but did you know that by law you need to be qualified to do this?
We can run this course for you, all you need to do is get in contact with us to arrange a suitable date and time. You will need about 3 hours with us in the shop. You are required to resit the course every 5 years to stay current.

All dive cylinders filled in New Zealand require the filler to hold WorkSafe NZ approved certification in accordance with the Hazardous Substances Compressed Gas Regulations.
Failure to comply with this legislation could incur heavy penalties.
WorkSafe NZ regulations apply to all compressor operators and includes compressors on vessels working within the territorial waters of New Zealand. Air Purity Limited have a test certifier qualified to issue approved air filler test certificates. Certification is valid for a period of five years.
Air filler certification must be displayed at all times.
What to expect on your course
The course will take about 3 hours to complete. At the end there is a short exam and application form to complete.
We will go through the course materials and expand on the theory as we can through the practical side of the course.
On Site there is a large selection of cylinders to compare materials, sizes, pressures, markings, contents and other important factors.
At Dive Now, there are two compressors and a storage system on site to review and use.
We will navigate the Worksafe website for reference.
